As part of our continuous commitment to maintaining the highest standards of security, the Quest team would like to make you aware that during an in-depth security review of the KACE Systems Management Appliance (SMA) several critical vulnerabilities were identified that require prompt attention.
Currently there is no evidence that any appliances have been accessed or compromised, we are taking decisive action out of an abundance of caution.
To ensure your environment remains secure, we have released an out-of-band hotfix to address these vulnerabilities. Demonstrating our dedication to your security and going well beyond our contractual obligations, we are extending these critical updates to versions as far back as KACE SMA 13.0.383—covering three prior versions beyond our standard support window. This allows customers who have not yet upgraded to the latest active maintenance release (14.x) to still benefit from these vital security enhancements.
