End of Support for Microsoft Windows 10

Microsoft announced that Windows 10 has reached the end of support on October 14, 2025. In order to continue to receive security updates for Windows 10, it is necessary to enroll in the Extended Security Updates program.

Windows 10 Long Term Servicing (LTSB/LTSC) editions follow their own support lifecycle and are not included in the Windows 10 Extended Security Updates program.

Starting October 14, 2025, new security updates for Windows 10 version 22H2 delivered through KACE will only be applied to devices enrolled in Microsoft’s Extended Security Updates (ESU) program. Previously released security updates will remain available in the catalog.

More details are provided below.

Prevent Windows 10 Patching Interruptions

  • Upgrade all Microsoft operating systems to a supported version.
  • Enroll in the ESU program with Microsoft.
  • If you have purchased ESU licenses, please ensure they are properly activated on all applicable Windows 10 version 22H2 devices. Additionally, verify that all required prerequisites have been met to ensure successful update deployment.

Continued Support for Windows 10 LTSB/LTSC Editions in KACE
